| There are several options in choosing a Foredom
motor unit. These various options make many combinations of
available units. Use this tutorial to sort through these options
step-by-step to assist you in choosing the right machine for the right
job. At
the end of this tutorial, we will direct you to the product on our

| To give you an overview, here are the basic
options. You must choose between Foredom's SR, TX, and LX series
motors. H-versions (Heavy Duty) are available within each of these
motor types, which include a longer heavy duty flexible shaft, but limit
your choices of handpieces (more later...). Each of these units
come either hanging (most popular) or bench mount. Finally, there
are four options for speed controls for each of these units. As
you go through this tutorial, each of these options will be detailed
